The Alpi Aviation Research Division was born in the 2005 with the aim of develop, build, test and manufacture cheaper UAV/UAS systems to be introduced in the market.

The purpose was to keep UAS/UAV system as useful as possible at the lower price with the aim of convert the unmanned aerial system from the "elite-rich" configuration usual in the market up to the "industrial" standard cheaper production.

The Research Division base his facilities in Pordenone (80km from Venice) and has more than 3000 m2 of manufacturing buildings and offices.

The location is particularly suitable for the UAV/UAS development due to the nearest 10 km2 area that permit to extensively develop and test in flight the products.

The company is able to dramatically cut-off the time to market for new products using a set of engineering high innovative tools and the strong experience of his engineering staff.

The first project developed by the factory(STRIX-A MINI UAV) needed less than 1.5 year from the specification (customer oriented) and the final validation test.

Alpi Aviation Research Division helps the customer over the entire product life cycle, from the sale up to the final use through the maintenance service basing his approach on the customer oriented requirements.
